There are some sayings that make us raise our hands in exasperation and scream “What the heck”
1) The ridiculous “When you love
someone, you set them free” – Seriously? Free from what? Is it Love? Mtcheeew,
when you love someone, you should fight and fight till you have broken their
defence and they become your pawn
2) The incriminating “the truth
shall set you free” – Yeah right the truth is the reason a lot are locked up,
never to see the light of day.
3) The patronizing “beauty is in
the eyes of the beholder” – sly way of saying our eyes clearly sees ugly as
beautiful
4) The obvious lie “I was born
this way” – Honey, if mother didn't push it same time she did you, you learnt
it.
