Noble Eyisi is perhaps one of the most popular SUG presidents to have emerged from Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka. His activities have been lauded by students of the school.
Unfortunately these activities have earned him the wrath of school authorities. He has been assaulted, impeached and made mockery of. This impressionable lad has been suspended indefinitely by Nnamdi Azikiwe University's Vice Chancellor.
His crimes - fighting for better welfare, transport scheme and school fees for students. Nnamdi Azikiwe University is ridiculously expensive for a federal university. For the first time, a student seeks better schooling condition and reasonable fees for all students and what does the school do? Stamp an unwarranted suspension.
The Nigerian youth is trampled upon regularly and made to feel they have no right to ask for better standard. The Nigerian youth is constantly oppressed not to speak about his discomfort. How long should the Nigerian youth continue to play the fool?
It is time we put an end to the autocratic nature of our universities!!
Help get NAU to lift its suspension off Noble Eyisi.
