Fathers Are Awesome!

No matter how annoying mothers are, most children still relate better with them. Fathers as heads of families are feared; they are respected and treated as demi-gods. Fathers are overprotective and their presence offers a sense of security to their families.

Anyone with a good father will agree fathers deserve as much accolades as mothers. Fathers have ears that do not just hear but listen; they understand your feelings when shared and are more likely to admit a failure than our mothers. They are also the least likely to say “Your children will do same to you”. They hardly use emotional blackmail.

Fathers know when to give you space; they know you are older and wouldn't push their opinions down your throat. They will never turn event planner for your wedding. A father is more likely to allow you cheat him and pretend he doesn't notice. Fathers are the least likely to give your in-laws issues. They are the least likely to say “that shirt makes you look ugly, go change it”. They are the most likely to allow you be your own person.

Fathers are supportive and unbelievably strong in tough circumstances. Fathers will only call you a failure when you are actually a failure. Fathers bring the best of snacks and toys. They update our homes with the latest appliances. They take us to new places. Fathers may not say “I love you” but they hardly say hurtful things.
