A Medical Myth: Impregnated by a toilet

There has been a medical myth that women can get pregnant from toilet seat. Say virgin Mary someone?  The woman doesn't need to have sex; she just needs to be ovulating and a living sperm has to be on the toilet seat. Confused? Okay let’s go back from the beginning and create a better understandable scenario.

A man for some reason uses the toilet and leaves sperm on the seat, a woman who is ovulating sits on the toilet and the sperm for some reason slips in and fertilizes the woman’s ovaries; boom she becomes pregnant! (Yuck at the thought of using a toilet with sperm on it?)

So is this myth true? Well doctors are not giving us a strong direct answer. Doctors have explained this myth as not factual because the chance of a sperm being alive on toilet seat long enough to get a woman pregnant is high unlikely.

Doctors have gone on to point that sperm once excreted from the body doesn't live long. This is to say that sperms do not live long if in an unnatural environment.

Most doctors’ explanation on getting pregnant from toilet seat has still not stopped people from insisting that this medical myth is in fact reality. They base their argument on the hypothesis by few doctors of a very slim possibility women may actually get pregnant from using the toilet

So women, here is another reason not to sit on a public toilet. What do you think?
